Slippery Slopes

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

What goes up, must come down, but how we hike down a mountain is for us to decide. We slowly descended the slippery slope of Mt. Madison. It was a rainy Monday, and we had no desire to rush this trail, and fall.

The trails were quiet. We took the Air Line Trail down, and were rewarded with a cool breeze, and a few views. The start of the trail was not rewarding at all.

The hike down was much slower than our trek up. Slowly, the fog faded.

We continued our hike for another 3 hours, and were thankful for the the cool air and the views of the valley.

There isd a show on tv on Mondays where this person at *:00 or 9:00 p.m. on channel 4, takes actors on hikes, and doing adventures where they could get killed. It is very interesting, but I like to keep both feet on the ground. unless the hiking was safe. eva

Beautiful! Wow, longer to come down? Don't blame you a bit for being careful. Slippery trails can be very bad. Great pics!
