Small but swift progress!

I am sticking with my new goal of at least 30 minutes exercise each day. I have discovered lots of workout websites with free workouts to do. I love working out at home alone, lol. Yes I am an introvert! :) I also love running outdoors, but today it is 100 degrees so I did a 40 minute workout on YouTube instead. Very few households have air conditioning here because it rarely gets this hot. Feeling very relaxed now & positive minded. I did some research on dance studios in my area, as I long to return to dancing again. I found some new ones close to home that I can attend. Very excited about starting that up again soon! Probably will be taking Contemporary/Lyrical and Bellydance too. Maybe some jazz and hiphop on occasion at another more expensive studio. Aiming for a studio class once or twice per week as schedule and pocketbook allow.
I am down 2 pounds from yesterday. I ate really well (but not enough veggies) yesterday:
B: Oat bran cereal with banana and blueberries, almond milk and maple syrup.
L: Protein shake
D: Big bowl of brown rice, black beans, tomato, onion & avocado
S: 5 Kavli thin crisp crackers
Today I am aiming for higher veggies to starch ratio. I have a lot of leftover rice to eat up before traveling to the forest on Wednesday. Always have to get more creative using up perishables before a trip without buying more that will rot while gone. I see a lot of kale and carrots in the fridge, probably do a light water sautee with those and some garlic and mushrooms.
I am definitely planning on having a veggie burger and a beer on vacation at least once!
