Whole 30 day 10 & 11 Tiger blood?

Monday, August 11, 2014

TOM hit early and furiously. I had to stay home instead of going out to complete the field work. I started a new knitting project and did some light cleaning. I hate to admit it was nice to be in the house alone. Its been months since that has happened. I just sat there and listened to birds and knitted. I had baby turkeys come thru the yard!
Today I had to drive a bus to garage to be worked on, it was 54 miles round trip. We stopped at Marshall's and I bought some new running shoes. I had planned on waiting until I reached 190 but when I made that goal its seemed like it would be here sooner. .... and the deal was too good to walk away from.

Nutritionally speaking I have stayed on track. Today I had an odd craving for canned soda out of a machine. Which is odd because I don't really drink soda all that often. It was fleeting, I drove by pepsi machine and it was looking so good. Then I snapped to and said, Cynthia, you don't even like pepsi. What is your problem?

Don't be ashamed to admit that you enjoy your alone time! It's definitely my favorite part of the day!

I find that if I don't remind myself pretty often that I am CHOOSING to make these healthy changes, my subconscious gets resentful and I start having silly self sabotaging thoughts. Glad you recognized it for what it was before you were led down the primrose path!

I am a Diet Coke addict. After I get my eating under control I will be working on weaning myself off the soda. I wake up to a soda in the morning and go to bed with one, That is awesome that you were able to withstand your craving! In my book that is a huge accomplishments!

Oh my gosh! I have had such a craving for Diet Coke yesterday and I too do not really drink it. Too funny! Wonder if that is on the Whole30 timeline. LOL

And good for you buying new running shoes. Seriously...why do we wait to reward ourselves? Why can't we give ourselves permission to enjoy something so that it KEEPS us on the right path and towards our goal?
