Good morning, Saturday

I'm still having trouble adjusting to having weekends off ... but committed to giving a "good o' college try" at figuring it out! emoticon Hubby has a rare weekend off as well and I'm delighted he is still sleeping. Too bad he's missing the incredible 61 degree temp that is coming in through the windows right now ... It's wonderful! So happy the temperature seems to be dropping a tad these days. I am not a hot weather fan.

It was a tough week. I didn't want to work any of the days that involved the one month anniversary of Allen's passing but staying home isn't a cure for that ... so off to work I went. One down, a million more firsts to go ...

I'm slowly working on accumulating clothes to build a work wardrobe. Sticking to solid colors in a blk, white/cream, pink and gray with a dash of red thrown in will be my basic foundation or so I've decided for now. Scarves are a lifesaver for the dash of color or pattern that dresses it all up. I have decided I need to go on a hunt for more brooches as they are also an easy go-to for sparkle or a pop of color.

Interesting about building a work wardrobe. I learned that I was a Winter Type person, so that has helped me with my wardrobe. It really is true for me that I feel best in the colors that matches me best.

You have traversed through a very challenging week, for sure. Allen's bright spirit, that you have so eloquently described, will remain in your memory, but his loss will be painful for a long time. I will keep you in my prayers.
I'm glad that today brings cooler weather for you and that you are enjoying your morning.
Blessings to you and your family,
