I have completed the first week of Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30. Compared to the One Week Shred, it seemed so easy that I was skeptical that it would be enough to continue my weight loss. However, at the close of the week I can see that I have continued to consistently lose weight. I've lost another 2-3 pounds this week and my body fat % dropped a percentage point. What I really like is since this workout is only 20 minutes, it is so easy to fit into my schedule with very little commitment or thought.
I am going to go ahead and move to Workout 2 in the series today because I am headed out on vacation from Sunday to Sunday. I am a little nervous that it might mess with my consistency and resolve to be out of the healthy, structured environment I have built around myself for the past two weeks. However, hello! I'm headed to the beach for a week! Hopefully I can maintain what I have worked on so far, and if I don't at least I know that what I am doing now works! If I get off track for a week, at least I can come back and recreate what has been working here at home. I probably won't be doing the video at the beach, but am taking running shoes and I'm sure I can find something to do outside.
