I love Sparkfriends! Day 2

Thank you everyone for the kind remarks yesterday. I almost didn't blog but glad I did. It actually does help to motivate yourself by admitting your weaknesses and asking for accountability help. YOU ALL ROCK!

I was all set to run today but I think I left my running shoes on my sailboat. So I'm in old shoes going to do Zumba instead. All dressed out for it. Did make my water goal yesterday so on Day 2 of 7!

Thank you to Lucky Duck 2 for her suggestion to modify my goals to allow for wiggle room. So my goal is 5 of 7 days. I can screw up and forgive myself and still win. emoticon

    I have been a little "off" the last month or so as well. I haven't been doing the things DAILY that I should. NO WAY am I giving up, I think I have just allowed myself to relax a bit and enjoy summer. I haven't gained but have def slowed down on losing....that isn't surprising when you are out of town, having MANY barbeques with beers and cocktails in your face also! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I have had a few weeks where I have only exercised 2 or 3 days and I know that won't cut it. I realized this morning I hadn't weighed in over 2 weeks and that won't do either. I was down .6 which was better than gaining! I have reviewed my goal board and have a mini goal that for the first time since I started, I won't reach...(unless I lose 5 lbs this week...haha! THAT NEVER HAPPENS!!) That bums me out cause I have reached all my others and I thought I could do it....BUT...that's ok. I will set another mini and know that I WILL get there. I am leaving for a beach vacation and I know I won't be perfect there either but I WILL walk on the beach daily 'cause it's my happy place. Just gotta keep doing the best we can do and make the mini goals more attainable and not beat ourselves up when we aren't perfect. The END result is what we are working so hard for. I gave myself a year....and I will get there. You hang in there and take it a day at a time. You will get there too! emoticon

    I have also been struggling to meet my goals. So i have lowered all of them. Now i can meet the lower goals and move up from there. It takes some of the guilt away.
