I planned a plan , but . . .

Monday, August 04, 2014

I didn't walk today, as planned. Or work out.

Not the best start, but I didn't wish this sore throat and cough on myself. This was Day II and my throat was less raw than yesterday -- but really! I walked 3 miles Saturday, felt good (and tired) and then got sick. Is this a coincidence?

Tomorrow I am up at 400 am and on the road for a long day of training. Maybe I'll swim in the hotel pool at the end of the day. Wednesday is more conference and I'm booked in the evening after travel home, so Thursday it is -- I will walk and do strength training. I should be better by then.

I am really tired now, and I'm going to pack and go to bed.

I have something similar and so does my husband. We've both been at this for a week and are on antibiotics but not doing much better. I hope you have better luck with yours! emoticon emoticon

Just imagine how wonderful it will feel when you've reached a point where walking is actually PLEASURABLE!

You'll get step at a time! :-)

Easy does it... fitness does not exempt us from illness, but if we get our rest, it helps us get past it sooner! Take care of you... plans are there for a reason, but have sometimes to be modified for the needs of the day. emoticon

emoticon emoticon you could not follow with your plan. When you need rest this is the best thing to do for yourself. I hope you enjoy the training at your conference. Instead of improving your body you are improving your mind! Best wishes getting some emoticon Tuesday evening!
