HOW I FEEL
I'm seriously hormonal, my lower body just aches and I hate to admit it but I totally phoned it in in my workout today, it just hurt and I had zero energy. I did what I could and at least moved today, counting the small victories as I was SO tempted to just switch the darn thing off and take a rest day.

Today my mum said I am like my dad personality wise.... coming from her it wasn't a compliment lol. I'm not offended though, I'd rather be that than the alternative * shrug *

Anyway, given that I am having my hormonal pain (I have to admit it isn't as bad as usual and I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that I see an improvement in TOM this month) I decided to try out my new natural painkiller. I read about this a while ago and ordered it soon as. It didn't come in time for last month though so I had to wait to give it a whirl and now I finally can. It's called white willow bark and basically is the natural substance that aspirin is derived from, so it has all the properties of aspirin without the overprocessed bulking agent chemicalisation of pharmaceuticals. I mean yeah this has been processed too..... I mean you can't chew on a piece of bark....I don't think...** contemplates going to the park to lick a willow tree **... hmm...lol

mmmmmm lick me!!

It supposedly doesn't tear up the gut the same way as some pain relievers do (did you know ibuprofen and other anti inflammatory pain relievers can cause the lining of your gut to bleed and make ulcers emoticon I sure as heck didn't) However I am only able to try this out because I currently take NO pharmaceuticals, even though this is natural it DOES interact with other drugs and has the same contraindications as normal aspirin (eg you can't take this if you take warfarin or methotrexate).

This is the one I got.

I will let you know if it is successful and worth it. I just took some now to ease my lower back pain, it sure does taste medicinal ** yak ** lol and there's nothing white about it....it looks like iodine..

*10 minutes later*........WEIRD!!!!!! The pain has gone and I've had a major boost in my mood... hmm it said nothing about that on the bottle. I can't stop smiling... lol gosh does this stuff make you high, is it addictive?? eeek if it does!

I just watched Philadelphia Story, never seen it before. I loved what she said at the end when she finally did what her heart told her to do

Tracey: “and do you know how I feel, like a human being, I feel like a human being!”

Gosh isn't that what we all want to be able to say, I feel alive, I'm living, loving, and feeling every bit a human being and not what I was, or what I thought I should be. THAT's what I want to say with all sincerity at some point in this journey. I already feel like I'm regaining my body and refinding myself but as soon as I can say that from the bottom of my heart I'll be sure to say it to you all my awesome friends first!

Two days left! You're gonna do it! And isn't it interesting that we all recognize the truth when we hear it like in that movie, but we just don't know how to be human beings instead of human doings... The other mistake we make is we think we are human beings have a spiritual experience (esoteric), but we're actually spiritual beings having a human experience. It makes one feel much more handicapped when you realize that!

Hey sweet Bean~ *hugs* Sorry to hear you've been enduring more pain. emoticon on finding the white willow bark tincture. I used to know a li'l witch doctor (herbalist with a degree in biology) who used to make up some great anxiety~relief tincture. It was nasty indeed~ made for shooting & not sipping~ but within a couple of minutes of hitting my bloodstream~ AAAAhhhhh~ the cares of the world just flowed from my fingertips & toes. Great stuff!

Keep listening to your body~ it knows what it needs. The end is in sight, dear Bean, and YOU are FAB~ulous! emoticon BB~ emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

hey girl, that looks like a good workout, how do you track it?

you made me giggle about you licking a willow tree, I have lots of trees near me, maybe on my walks I should too...not...drops seem a better idea.

KEEP PUSHING

I have just purchased a collapsible hoop, but have to send it back, because girl as I was doing my poor attempt of spinning it the release lock, strung open.

Have a blessed day, and enjoy your juicing, you are tempting me to give it a try!
