I have one more tablet to take tonight and then the last one tomorrow morning. This has been going on for a number of weeks now and I feel I should surely rattle if I were to run!
Luckily the meds are doing their work and the tick bite is looking so much better. I've never been a "pill popper" so I am really pleased to be coming to the end of this course but at least they have worked.
The bite on my calf is also reducing in size but I think I may be left with a scar as it was such a nasty bite. Here in the UK if you have a tick bite you do not get tested for Lyme Disease although you might if you live in an area where ticks are known to carry this disease.
I'm going to have another couple of days taking it easy before I get back into the swing of things. I've lost so much sleep what with having to take a tablet late at night and then early in the morning that I'm feeling rather weary. Were I younger I would probably bounce back!
Anyway, lovely early morning here today. Blue skies, white fluffy clouds, sun streaming through my tree. Life is great.
I'll try and get out for a short walk today now that I don't need sticks or a stick to get around. It's almost like "freedom at last"! WooHoo! Methinks, though, that I will be wearing trousers tucked into socks in the garden in future and I was one, as a child and still as an adult, who liked to go barefoot in the grass especially in the early morning when the dew was on the ground.
I guess, maybe, it's time I acted my age.
