I'm Baaaaaack!

So it's probably been a few years now since I've been a regular here...I was in maintenance mode for so long and still logging in every day and it started to seem a waste of time. However, in truth I started to push the food intake and back off on the exercise a bit and I have backtracked a bit. For a while there I was convinced my metabolism was so high that I could do nothing to cause me to gain weight. Well, I can assure you there are limits to everything! That is not a good assumption to make about one's self.

Tomorrow I have a well woman exam in the morning so the fast has begun for my bloodwork. While I still feel fabulous I should admit that I have regained some weight since paying close attention to it. My scale did truly stop working a year + ago and the new one isn't as snazzy (since I now know that many of the metrics weren't accurate anyway-the new one simply weighs and doesn't make any claims of calculating body fat it doesn't capably know how to calculate anyway) and I just stopped using it at all.

But the scale at the Dr's office is likely to remind me that this journey is lifelong and it's time to, shall we say, get back on the horse?

I will see how it goes in the AM and come back tomorrow night to set some new goals. Just need to figure out how to keep the history here and still start anew...there must be a way! At the very least I will start a new tracker....10 pounds should do it!
