GUESS WHAT????????????????

Saturday, August 02, 2014

I got accepted for my health insurance! got the notice today. Dd and I went to get haircuts, then on to book sale, then lunch, then Kmart, automotive store to get an air filter for Vito. Back home, DD checked mailbox and along with a big stack of bills, there was the golden envelope(white actually).
I have been approved, now just wait for my insurance card to magically appear.Hope it does before we leave for vacation. It only took seven months , but I finally can get some of my meds and perhaps my testing supplies. I was very afraid to open yet another envelope and see that I was denied for the fifth time, but even after reading I was eligible, I had DD read it to confirm that I was not denied. I started crying.. tears of relief..

Yesterday I bought nine books for $4.50. today I bought 38 hardcovers for $6.00! Four of them are DD.. None were for my Clive Cussler collection, nor the John Grisham, but just fluff books or old classics.. They started out with 20,000 books on Friday, the tables were almost empty on that ice re=ink when we arrived today.

We are now home, sorting books, cooling off in the cool house. I just want to rest... and let it soak in that I now am insured..PTL! I knew eventually HE would provide for my needs.. on HIS timetable..

So happy for you getting approved for you and your Insurance. It really does help.

Books are wonderful. I too have collections of them. I love reading and take every minute I can to take part in a travel of my mind to difference places and journeys.

So glad your insurance came through. Reading about your set backs while waiting made me very grateful to have automatic universal health care in Canada! This should ease your burden financially for meds and testing supplies.
The book sale sounds awesome, wish I was there. :) emoticon

What a relief! We are on our first year being an insured family because I changed jobs last September. If it hadn't been for the new job I don't know what we would have done.
Happy reading!
