...when it's a week before your period and you've stuck to your calorie goal (maybe not the macronutrients exactly...) and you've exercised and drunk water like a fish...and the scale shows a 1.8 pound gain over two days.
So you drop kick it across the yard.
Okay, not really, but I kinda felt like it! Whatever, my underwear is still noticeably looser. And it's August and only about 80 degrees out here today, which is reason enough to rejoice.
I read Thinner, Leaner, Stronger by Mike Matthews the other day and enjoyed it ( and the Kindle version is five bucks on Amazon). A lot of what he says makes sense, and my husband, (who lifted in high school and was at less than ten percent body fat) agreed with most of it, too. For now I'm sticking with the body weight exercises, but when I get back on the Bowflex I think I'll use his plan.
It has been more than 30 days since my last sugary beverage.
