Woodstock 5 K race day! 2014

Saturday, August 02, 2014

It's the big day and I did GREAT breaking my record by almost 5 minutes! I ran 40.23 minutes and last year was at 45.38 minutes! This is todays before race photo!

This is last years! I can really tell how I have continued to lose weight and get healthier!

Lynette, Daizy and I after the race!

We really had a great time together!

my scripture I meditated on today was Isiaha 40:31 -- "Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary."

I claimed through out the race "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and "Thank you Jesus". Feeling great afterward. Now time for the shower!

Philippians 4:13 Wonderful that you brought it up. Keep on keeping on! He has your back always. I wonder if there is a 40:23 scripture that would be fitting to match your time. I think I will go check. emoticon

emoticon young lady and emoticon beating your time by 5 minutes!!! That's major, really major!!! Yes, I definitely saw the weight loss and a healthier you in the two pictures. It's just so AMAZING what you're continuing to do!!! Okay, which one is Lynette and which one is Daizy? It's so cool the three of you workout and do the 5Ks together!!! I have several friends like that too. Of course, right now, I'm not able to do the 5Ks.

Yeah buddy, scripture ALWAYS WORKS!!! Get one and stand on it and it will come about, and it certainly did with you!!!

    Thanks for sharing!

Be blesse, like I know you are,
