Review and August Goals

Friday, August 01, 2014

My goals for July were:

1. To work out for 40 minutes a day (1 rest day a week)
2. To drink 10 glasses of water every day
3. To eat three meals a day
4. To get 8 hours of sleep per day
5. To get the 1000 fitness minutes trophy again (Hadn't gotten it since October 2013)
6. To run 3x each week

I had noticed I haven't quite reached the 1000 fitness minutes/month trophy since October of last year (which was my greatest month, fitness and weight loss wise,) so I made it my mission to get that trophy again. Not only did I meet my goal, but I also got the 1500 minute/month trophy!

I did super on all of my goals except for the running 3x per week, as I got sidelined by blisters, and occasionally on sleep, as I had a few work-related short nights.

Anyway, for August I want to go further

August Goals:

1. To work out for 55 minutes a day (1 rest day a week)
2. To run 3x each week
3. To focus on eating what is right for my body, not any one else's
4. To get 8 hours of sleep per day
5. To get the 1500 fitness minutes trophy again
6. To continue to drink 10 glasses of water/day

I tend to see others eating more/am pressured by others to eat more, and as a result I feel like my weight loss is being sabotaged, so this month I really want to focus on eating what I know is right for me and ignoring what others say is okay. I also really want to actually meet my running goal, and get the 1500 minute trophy again.

    HI Maria !!

I LOVE these !! So very focused on YOU and how ur body loses !! EXCELLENT hon !!!

CONGRATTERS on the 1,500 trophy for exercise mins !! That's GREAT and always a nice surprise ! WOOHOOO YOU KEEP A GOININ Kiddo !!! I am now anxious to see (and MINE !) weigh in for tomorrow. I HOPE ur dreams will be realized by the furits of ur efforts.

And I know this is kinda hard, but plz try to not allow "happiness" to be tied into the scale,, a piece of metal/plastic. Whie we love to celebrate that,, they need not be tied together,,, for to be truly successful come maintenance ,, we need to of already hit our happiness as we get closer to it,,, so plz when you accomplish anything,, weight related,,, or NOT ! Exp the NOT,,, time to smile. And keep on smiling,, that'll aid you the MOST in losing.

Ok, good. My goals are similar, and so I will focus like you are doing and on the same things too.
It is a challenge to eat what you have decided, when others come on the scene with interesting items to devour, or invite you to share something you had planned on avoiding.
It happens
But then so does planning, persistence and determination. These I shall practice!!!
Good Luck to Us!!
