My older DD is doing well, drove around and took the kids to the pool AFTER she picked up the epi-pen. Also took a buddy to feel safer for a bit.
Lucas had lots to talk about with his candy venture, something which does not occur in any of our households.
Imagine...A kid who doesn't get much opportunity to pick candy and what did he pick?
Two Sour Patch Kids.
I wish I had my camera!
Ben is none the worse for the wear. Babies don't care as long as they are fed and watered, warm and snuggled.
SIL is kicking himself for not realizing how dangerous this was. Now he knows, so get over it! He's the only one in our family with no medical contact.
My family is expert.
My younger DD still has neurology appointments, more tests and no answers. I think in the end it will be minor stroke prevails. Her vision has improved so perhaps there will be minimal permanent damage.
She lost her job in all this so the angst level is high. She was proud to be off my payroll. She won't qualify for any disability payments as she was on her job for less than 90 days and is not permanently disabled.
DH went to the cardiologist and complained about his 30lbs weight loss. Says he can't understand why he lost all that weight without trying.
I'm holding my breath because I explained his endocrine system to him in minute detail and told him exactly why and how he has lost the weight and what his body is doing to itself.
Sit there and drink another 3 sodas and have a bowl of ice cream, bud.
I topped off the past 5 days by firing a beloved staff member today and will probably hear about it for days from other staff. I also will be watching my car, where I park and my back all at the same time.
I ate a 1/2 bag of chips because there's no ice cream in the house.
Better than drinking a bottle of booze.
It's only Wednesday
