Because I Need to Put it Somewhere...

I feel like I need to put this somewhere public so I feel more responsible for getting it done.

Goals for this week:
Health
•Hydrate (15+ glasses per day). I had a heat exhaustion problem yesterday and I need to both recover and prevent a repeat.
•Slowly, gradually, start building up arm strength again. Been feeling like my arms are not keeping up with my legs on earning their keep lately.
•Stick with my planned dinners for the week and add veggies into every other meal possible.

Painting
•Plan and draw a painting on each pad/block I have before setting paint to paper on any of them. This has been working but I have to stick with it.
•Presketch the two remaining paintings in my Gaia series. Now that I finally have an idea what I want to put in each, it's time to finish this series!
•Start a large pointillism piece - something that will take weeks. This process is soothing to me. I have to give myself a long term excuse to keep returning to the tap-tap-tap-dip of pen and ink stippling.

Maintaining the Ol' Homestead
•Plant 3 gardenias and 4 calibrochoa
•Run drip line sprinklers on a timer to those.
•Repair drip system to my dying lantana (I have two that are thriving and one that isn't).


Other:
Rock that interview on Friday. An in-town 5th grade position at the district's flagship school would be FANTASTIC!

    Health:
    I have had good weeks and bad on each of these. Boy, that hydration goal is hitting home as it broke the 110ËšF mark yesterday. Calendar be darned, summer is here.

    Painting:
    Failed all but number three. I have 13+ total hours put in on a pointillism piece - white ink on black paper - on a Dia de Los Muertos theme.

    Homestead:
    Okay. THOSE I got done.
