Jiggle Free July: Day 29

Hey everyone!

My birthday was almost a week ago and I am 29 now! I got my boot off for my birthday so I have been exercising more and I'm happy to be free.

I did 18,129 step yesterday and I completed my FIRST real jog/run since breaking my ankles in May.

I need to work on my endurance again but It felt good to have the wind passing me by. I took my two doggies with me and the puppy did OK. She has a lot of energy to burn but it mostly comes in short spurts of energy.

I'm planning to run 3-4 days a week for now and walk on the other days. I planned to join my job/college's gym because it's only 8 dollars a week! So, I will do that on August 1 and alternate the elliptical/arc trainer on my non running days.

I'm hoping my new found freedom (from my braces and boots) will allow me to be active again. Not that I ever stopped begin active. But, I love the endorphin rush and I'm SO happy to be able to move (cautiously) again.

    $8.00 a week! That's like $2.00 a workout (if uoi go 4 times :) ! Nice!

Take it easy on yourself and get back to it gently! Breaking both ankles can't be easy on the body to recover from!!! WOW! What did you do to break them BOTH?

Make sure you are taking your calcium suppliments :) Build those bones back stronger then ever! XOXOX
