An interesting, insightful week....
A tough week in work, lots of change, which affects a person mentally. Workload each day has reduced, but had a lot of hours to work back my flexi time, so left at 8:30pm on Friday, and started work on Saturday at 8am... not ideal. From now on, I'm aiming to do 11am to 7pm days. It'll be nice to get away "early" every day, although I have to work until 8:30pm one night a week. So weekly that'll mean I claw back 4 hours, which is a little over half a day. This means I can keep my roughly 12 days accrued holidays for the end of the year (Iceland trip) and use my flexi time for full and half days here and there (another 12 days worth).
After a strong first half of the week, had a couple of poor days, and am only righting that now - walked about 5 miles and an W1D3 of C25K in the gym. Don't like not knowing exactly how far I walked, sorry I sold the Fitbit now. So have ordered a second hand Withings Pulse. Looks like a nice piece of kit for step/distance tracking to encourage me to walk more again.
Bike's off the road until can afford to get gears/brakes sorted. Next Friday fortnight... walking and occasionally bussing until then.
Apart from the Withings Pulse, got my eye on two other devices - first is the Adidas Speed_Cell bluetooth stride sensor for tracking runs in the gym. Ordering this Friday...
The other is the Magellan Echo Fitness watch.
The watch displays HRM data, bike data, running data - links to my iSmoothrun app and al the connecting devices. Fascinating. :)
Still my eternal bugbear. Dishes were not done, and didn't revise anything for work, or do any work for brother. Got gym and walking in at least, so partial achievement, not a zero day at least.
OVERALL, A 6/10. NOT TERRIBLE, BUT ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. WILL LOOK AT VIDEO BLOGGING AGAIN THIS WEEK...
