I know I am a bit behind on my happy days and have been pondering it for a few days. I hereby promise to catch up tomorrow or I will do a 2 minute mod plank.

Okay that I owned up to that I want to talk about something. Lately, it has been hot and humid here. I mean HOT! like 100 degrees. I don't do well in humid or really hot weather. I want to do a workout indoors so i went and found so exciting workouts I could do.

Kickboxing
Belly dancing
Pussycat Dolls Burlesque workout
Zumba

Great fun things to do. Right?

I have a problem. I am embarrassed to workout alone in front of my family. Maybe it is just me but since they are not really supportive of my new lifestyle or supportive in general its hard. We also have very limited space. The kids aren't interested in participating exercising with me inside. Or at least when I've tried it has been an epic fail. So I am not sure what to do. I feel like I'm kind of stalled out till it cools down in a few days. Anyone understand what I'm talking about. Suggestions would be great.

    I was the same way with my kids too.

Maybe you can negotiate with you partner and ask that he take the kids out for an hour so you can have some time to yourself. If that isn''t an option, you can always go to the local mall (with air conditioning) and walk the perimeter a few times. Walking indoors in the cool mall is better than doing nothing at all!

    I get it. I feel self conscious if my husband is around when I do an exercise video. I usually wait until he is doing something in another room or is out of the house.

    I do, I feel the same way. I usually go in the bedroom and close the door. But if that isn't possible find a workout friend or wait until your family isn't home. Not such good advice, but whatever works
