Well, I finally retired for the last time! I was finally was able to retire again! I needed to cover 2 mortgages for a while and had to return to work. I worked overnight at Walmart managing the stocking crew so my days and nights were upside down and over time I was not doing well at taking care of myself. So, that was then and this is now! Now I can take care of myself again and readjust my priorities to what I choose
1. Taking care of my health!
2. Taking care of my new grandson! This item I love! I spend 2 days a week babysitting him.
3. Taking time for my family and volunteering for my church.
4. I have an online business I enjoy very much.
So, it is hard to begin again with eating healthy as I have just begun. The only way I can do this is just to do today. I have set a goal of losing 2 lbs. per week. My goal date for the weight loss is October 6th. I don't think it will be easy at first, but hope to be consistent and hopefully I will regain my confidence to do it. It is hard to restart, but each day it should get a little easier. I know using the food and activity trackers worked wonders for me in the past so I am grateful for the use of these tools once again. Thank you Spark People. I also especially appreciated the encouragement from all of my Spark Friends as I received so much in the way of tips and encouragement from all of you. Thank you all for that! Here's to all of our journeys!
Oh BTW -- I just got back from accomplishing one of the items on my bucket list!!! We made a vacation trip to Texas, Arizona and Ta DaaaaaaHHHH!!! the Grand Canyon! It was awesome! Next blog, I will tell you all about our trip and post some photos!
