Looking back, looking forward

Saturday, July 26, 2014

Just curious . . . .

(My note would say LIVE TODAY!)

Well we all know life doesn't allow do-overs. We can't go back and change anything . . . but we can decide today to make a difference, for today and tomorrow . . .

So looking forward, what if you were to write a note today to your future self, what would it say? Would it be a word of encouragement? perhaps a goal you've set? something you'd like to accomplish?

emoticon One of the greatest things I learned with SparkCoach was the importance of setting goals . . . both short term and long term. And how to set up a goal board with motivators and progress markers. If our goals are reasonable and attainable, there's a really good chance that we'll succeed.

Let's make it count!

I would tell my young self to "love yourself". I'm still struggling to learn how...

To my younger self, "be kind". Perhaps I would avoid some of the mistakes I made.

To my future self, "be strong". I suspect I will need to be in the future.

This is a tough one...especially with only using 2 words.

For my past self, I think it would be YOU CAN, and for my future self I would have to say YOU DID!
