Swimming today, just 5 laps, but I promised myself at least 5 laps at least 3 times a week and I hope to stick to that.
I don't have a scale at home (for that way lies obsessive compulsive weighing), so I use the one at my gym. It's one of the ones with the slide-y things. I think they're called doctors' scales. Anyway, I was 156 when I joined Spark about a month ago & it's been dropping slowly but surely. Today I got on the scale (in my shoes & clothes, as always), slid bottom slider to 150, and prepared to slide the top slider - and I was less than 150!!
So I slid the bottom slider to 100, and slid the top slider to 50 - and I was more than 150. I slid the top slider ALLLLLLL the way over to the right, past the numbers. Still it was registering as too light. I took off my shoes (clunky heels, probably weigh a couple of pounds), and got back on. Now if I slid the top slider about halfway between the 50 lb mark & the far right it balanced, but that still would seem to be more than 150 lbs.
I tried pushing the bottom to 150 & moving the top to 0 again, and it was still indicating that I weighed less than that.
I thought these scales were supposed to be more or less infallible. I hope I really am less than 150, cuz that's cause for celebration. I'm entering my weight today as 149.5.
