I found this amusing...

Easy Vegan Meals by SparkPeople ebook has been on my wishlist for months now, but I had put off buying it because finances have been really tight. (Like $10-40 per week for groceries tight.)

However, today I discovered that when I had signed up for SparkCoach for a year this past February, the ebook was included for free with my subscription. It was bundled with several other ebooks. I am so excited that I have this ebook already and I am looking forward to trying out the recipes in it.

If you want to buy the book and don't want to sign up for SparkCoach, here is the link for all of their ebooks:

Signing up for SparkCoach for a year was a big chunk out of my budget, but I figured it was a lot better deal than paying $8.99 per month. I am so glad that I made that decision. I had checked prices for Weight Watchers or TOPS, and found SparkCoach to be much more reasonable. I have more than gotten my money's worth for signing up and I love helping to financially support SparkPeople because they give so much freely.

I have gotten so much out of SparkCoach. I am so glad that I made the investment in myself. I can send an email to the SparkCoach team once a week if I am having a hard time or if I have any questions and they are always very quick with a response. I try to log in every day. When I do, I receive a new coaching lesson each day.

When finances allow, I hope to buy a Spark activity tracker. I love that it works with the free resources here on Sparkpeople. Oh! and then I want The Spark, and The SparkPeople Cookbook and ... well, you get the idea. emoticon

I appreciate the SparkPeople community so much. The encouragement that I receive from the friends that I have made here really helps me to make it day to day.

emoticon to all of the wonderful, sweet friends that I have made here.

I will try to continue with the "3 accomplishments I am proud of" series tomorrow. I just wanted to express my thankfulness and gratitude to SparkPeople, SparkCoach, and all of my lovely friends here.

I got the activity tracker a few months back and am so glad I did. Sounds like I need to break down and invest in the Spark Coach. My motivation definitely needs a kick.

I watched a TV segment quite a while ago about eating on a dollar a day. This is, of course, if you already have spices and some basics in your pantry. Seemed like a very good idea if you're strapped as far as your food budget goes. There are also good sites for cheap meals like hillbillyhousewife.com, which my friend used when their finances were very low.

Your blog post is just what I needed! I fully understand limited budgets (went to Trader Joes today, my poor pennies bleed when I shop Walmart). I hadn't been brave enough to even look at Sparkcoach, now I know if I drop hulu plus I can do sparkcoach. I figure I'll get more bang for my buck. Thank you
