Today is (thankfully) better.

So, today is way better than yesterday. I woke up around noon, went downstairs and got to hang out with my boyfriend's mom and her three dogs, which was cool. I'll always be more of a cat person, but I still love dogs. She has this adorable little puppy named Bell who kept jumping up on the couch to sit on my lap.

We went out to this Chinese buffet for lunch. I managed to get a few veggies on my plate, and only had one plate of food. We stopped at the dollar store and I got myself a fancy 3-subject notebook for writing all my fitness plans in, as well as writing down different exercises and motivational sayings. I also got a package of stickers, so I can put a sticker on each day as I complete my workout goals.

We went for a walk for about 45 minutes earlier. I probably would have gone longer to make up for not exercising at all yesterday, but it was about 90 degrees out and I was sweating and really thirsty. We got back to his mother's house and I drank about four glasses of water in a row.

We stopped at Dunkin' Donuts on the way home and I got an Oreo Coolatta, which I usually don't do, but I only got a small (even though I was really tempted to get a medium) , and didn't have whipped cream on it.

When we got home my cat was super happy to see me, and my boyfriend's dad seems to have calmed down. He admits he has a problem, and he's going to try to find a way to keep it from happening again.

I'm about to go copy this week's fitness plan from my old notebook into my new one, and fill up the awesome new water bottle I got yesterday. (Well, sort of new, my boyfriend found it in his old room at his mom's house and told me I can have it, because he knows I've been trying to drink more water lately. It's blue and shiny and looks like it's made out of rocks, and it has a sturdy straw through it so you can drink from it without turning it upside down.)

I'm going to do a little strength training today to make up for yesterday, and probably a 25 minute ride on the bike tonight. I'm not too upset about missing yesterday, because my muscles have been hurting a lot lately and probably needed a break.

  Good to hear about your better day. Like your idea for a workout notebook with stickers. I have tried logging streaks on SP but I am more visual and the notebook might be more motivating for me.
