The Saturday just past I had my first weigh in after starting the Preview trial. I had to be weighed three times to make sure the scales were reading correct. It was astonishing to see the numbers.
I had lost 7.9 kilos in two weeks! I have 1.5 kilos to go to reach my target goal of 8%.
This week has been a bit tougher than the previous. Probably being home and having food right there. Our friend from America made brownies Saturday night -I had two pieces. They tasted great, but I felt sick afterwards. She made more last night, I had a chocolate shake instead. Having brownies on Saturday took my body out of ketosis, which is what the diet causes your body to go into - running of fat, rather than glucose. Apparently it takes three days for your body to switch over, so I didn't want to stop that.
I have heaps of energy this week. I really want to exercise, I might do some on the cross trainer - just light though. I have been organising and tidying cupboards shelves, using energy. Finally getting some stuff sorted and tidy - feel good about that.
I'm hoping for similar results next weight in [2 August].
