Flirting with Food

Wednesday, July 23, 2014

People have all kinds of reasons for pushing food at you...
but with all the BAD news these days
I came across a very funny NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC presentation about
a photographer and a leopard seal.

I think this one will make you smile....
Photographer Paul Nicklen receives an unexpected gift ... (7 min)

so the next time you are faced with a food pusher...
remember the leopard seal and the penguins.

I'm still doing great with food... lots of veggies ...
cooking ahead to avoid a warm kitchen.
The heat and humidity are back...no long walks for me.
Dance fever ... literally.

stay cool..... emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Seems like I get "big eyes" when I go to the market and buy too many fruits and vegetables. They don't all get eaten but I try! Gonna have to throw stuff out and start over soon. Good job with the fruits and vegetables.

So we had some nice weather this weekend when it wasn't too hot to walk early in the morning. Are you finding any other ways toe exercise? Maybe swimming?

So glad that you are still doing great with your food Sheryl!

It is too hot & humid here too, doing all my walking indoors, but tomorrow the weather is supposed to break and go down to the lower to mid 80's.

Hope you stay cool too!

The cats and the seal/penguin video reminds me of dinner parties I used to have. I totally get where the cat and the seal are coming from. I used to cook all day for these events and intended for the guests to eat what I fixed if I had shove their faces in it or throw a piece of meat on top of their heads.
