#100happydays - Day 38

wOOHOOoooo! Happy emoticon day 38 -

I am so happy that I pushed myself and jogged almost a mile today. I am even prouder that even after I did that I pushed and finished my 3 miles. I didn't want to at first. I don't know if anyone else does this but I could hear myself say "hey you did a good job so quit while you're ahead" and then "your all sweaty and it feels kind of gross so its okay to quit". I almost did when I had a thought come to me. Yes, I did do a good job jogging but I'm already wet with sweat what is a little more sweat on top of that to me now. The little voice didn't have a come back to that. So I pushed through the old me voices and wow I did it. It felt great. I did start feeling blisters on my heels toward the end but I am wearing them as a badge of honor with bandaids of course.

Great job! Running/jogging/wogging can be very intimidating.

I did something similar the other day. I had a sweaty yoga session, then a few hours later, I thought, why not do something more, so I broke out a PS3 fitness game and restarted a 9 week program.
