Tweaked My Knee, Wah!

So, my knee had been bugging me a bit over several days, and I didn't really think about it because once in a while I tweak it, and the weather has been so bizarre this week (rained yesterday morning!) that I figured maybe it was just my arthritis kicking up. It didn't bother me at all doing yoga yesterday morning, but walking into work, I really noticed it hurting, and it got worse as the day went on. Doesn't hurt when I'm sitting, and doesn't really bother me on stairs, but hurts to walk on it. Ughhhh.

I iced it last night and this morning, and skipped the workout this morning. I'm hoping hoping hoping it fixes itself quickly! Because a, it's annoying to not be able to work out, b, I'm a little worried about what I might have done to it, and c, we're meeting up with friends at the State Fair tomorrow night, which means LOTS of walking. Fingers crossed.

I thought exercise was supposed to be good for you? Sheesh.

Tracking my food in a notebook, trying that for a while and maybe at some point I'll try to graduate to the food tracker. We'll see. Eating is going pretty well. I'm REALLY trying to be mindful of what I eat, though I know I'm probably still too high on carbs. Sigh.

Well, back to work!

    My doctor said to keep exercising even though I do have some joint issues - especially in the knee. He said you can have these issues without exercise too. Unless there is swelling. Then it might be a problem.
