Stepping it up!

After a day or so of feeling badly for myself about my first plateau, I have decided to step it up!

I've added strength training with my cardio, and I'm working on improving myself.

I spent a few days researching exactly what exercises are best for me, and my fitness level, and the areas where I want to tone the most.

I've been riding my bike or jumping on the treadmill everyday and watching everything I eat. I don't count my fruits and vegetable servings as I say they "don't have calories" and I pay close attention to processed foods and protein.

To get myself motivated again after that really bad Thursday last week, I went through all of my "numbers" in my private blog, and I looked to see how far I have gone since January 3, 2014.

In February, I measured my waist for the first time. I measured it again Friday. I have lost 10+ inches in JUST MY WAIST! That alone made me feel good enough to NOT QUIT!

As you can see through my older blog posts, I have come here before, i have been motivated, and eventually... I gave up. I cannot let myself fall into that rut again. I will keep going, I will reach my goal.

I have also put some thought into my goal weight... which isn't really a weight. It's a "size"

My goal is to have the dream body I can go to a public beach, in a bikini and feel good about myself.

Sure, I'll have a bad day here or there, but I'll keep going! I now have a support system I didn't have before. I may be doing everything mostly on my own, but I have people telling me how great I am doing as I go.
