FitBit & GI Frustrations..

Wednesday, July 23, 2014

Two hours after I went to sleep, I had to run to the bathroom, NEVER had to do that before! It wasn't diarrhea though. I also went again when I finally got out of bed so it would appear things are still moving quickly through me so to speak. Hope I am getting all my nutrients from it at least.
Imagine my surprise when logging into Fitbit for the first time and finding NO CANADA in the list of countries!!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
Canada is bigger than most of the countries listed!! While I love you folks in the emoticon Canada is not a clone of you!
emoticon uses the metric system of measurements!!!!
Even though it did not show on the dashboard, it looks like it did record my sleep! I slept for 5 hours and 31 minutes with 15 wakeups!! An eye opener to be sure as I didn't think I woke up that much!!
Scrambling to get laundry done (the room was in use as usual so I had to use the big machine which is lousy as socks get thrown and trapped in the slot in the window :-() I also have a pile of smelly workout clothes to hand wash and dishes as well then trying to pack and not forget anything like I usually do! Need an assistant!!! A secretary to type my blogs and responses to others would be especially nice!
Have a Wonderful Wednesday all!

    hi Linda,
kudos for you to keep on persisting with blogs and tracking and exercise. You make me ashamed of myself....I need to find some kind of exercise I can do....the biggest part of the war is the mental part....the part that tells me I can't do it. It's going to hurt too much. That the little bit I may be able to do would be too insignificant to count for much. I know that's not true. I'm just so tired. my cat is going to be sent into orbit. She sleeps all day and spends the night times working on new ways to torment me and keep me awake.
She is a demon in disguise. SHe used to be so loving. Now she seems to delight in making me miserable. I'm going to get a spray bottle and when she bites me she's gonna get a blast of water in the face.
Any way....Know that i'm pulling for you...Keep up the good(hard) work.

No bueno about no Canada and no metric! Can you upgrade software or exchange or something?

You know you weren't sleeping well, but that is real confirmation of how badly. That sleep deprivation is not good for you, your immune system, endocrine system, brain, and all. It's because you are in so much pain, right? My only suggestion until you get your arm fixed better to address the cause of the pain is that the "Relaxation Response" from several minutes of meditation is the same brain wave pattern as deep sleep and can be very restorative. Like a nap without grogginess.

To meditate: You can look at one thing, think of one word, phrase, place, your breathing, the moment you are in, just not trains of thought about the past or future. And relax. Helps to lessen pain too.

Best wishes. You are a warrior woman.

Bummer that the fitbit doesn't have Canada. That would be frustrating! Glad it registered your "sleeping," but that's a lot of times to get up. I hope your system "clears up."

I hope the rest of your week goes well.

    emoticon emoticon (Yes we are!!)

Gotta say, that Tide Sport liquid detergent seems to me to be worth it for dealing with the workout clothes . . .

That is totally weird about your fitbit. Doesn't make any sense at all to me.
Glad though that it is at least working. I love my fitbit.
    Have a great day

Yes, most of the world uses metric; I think we are the only ones who don't. Have a great day.
