For the WEC:
1. Post or blog the best thing about your experience with the BLC this round or about the progress you made due to your participation in BLC:
I've progressed past my old desire to merely compete in our weightloss challenge, to caring more about the health of my life and the overall amount of JOY i might be able to pass around. For some reason, THAT change has made my weightloss journey seem easier and faster, and even when i've gained over a week, i haven't been upset by it, i've been able to see it for what it is, a signal that i've forgotten one of my basic needs that week.
2. Post or Blog at least ONE NSV (Non-weight Related Victory) or accomplishment you did the round:
I feel more comfortable in my own body!!!
I looked in a store mirror the other day. It wasn't horribly lit, nor was it anything but an ordinary mirror; yet when i saw my bulges and bumps, it did NOT upset me! This is SO HUGE for me; i used to be quite underweight when i was younger, and not vain so much as Extremely Insecure, to the point that i seemed very! vain to anyone who didn't know my thoughts or feelings. I was even anorexic/bulimic at one point, and thought that THAT was 'the answer' to how to feel better about myself!! ...wow. So, just being able to see the Real Me in that mirror, and seeing that some pieces of clothing didn't fit because THEY WERE THE WRONG SIZE, and NOT that I WAS A WRONG PERSON, was Simply AMAZING!!!
3. Make a PLAN for maintaining or losing over the BLC break and
then post or blog about your plan.
I am going to KEEP POSTING, KEEP Tracking, and KEEP Exercising!
I've recently learned a name for what i've begun to do, which is: Intuitive Eating.. I eat when i'm hungry, and don't when i'm not, i eat what i want to, just not way too much, and i Totally!!! ENJOY re-fueling my body, instead of stuffing myself with either Comfort, or Guilt! It feels SOOO GOOD!
~so, i'm going to Keep Eating Intuitively, and when i stumble, i'm also going to Ask For Help!
Gee, i think i Will! post this as a blog, too!
