" If you do not expect the unexpected you will not find it, for it is not to be reached by search or trail." Heracleitus

I will never forget the car trip we took one Sunday on the spur of the moment .We were a few states away lost in the woods some where in New York. Yes the scenery was gorgeous. But we were on a dirt road defiantly lost , in desperate need of a restroom ,and some food. It was now three o'clock and we hadn't eaten since breakfast. We also had our one year old son with us and I was beginning to feel like we were in a Stephen King Novel.

Up ahead we saw what looked like an old rustic log cabin home. A sign was in front said special All You Can Eat Shrimp . Welcome. Upon stopping we both realized we thought the other had brought some money. We went in hoping to use the restrooms and leave. The waitress asked if we were staying for the special my husband said shrimp was his favorite and but we had little money. She said the special was only five dollars. All we had was 15 so we decided to stay . They brought out bowl after bowl of these huge shrimp . To our further surprise the sodas were free. And they had extra oatmeal in the back for our son also free. The waitress sat with us for a time and made sure with a map we could find our way home . We hugged her when we left and apologized for our small tip. She said the love of our young family was her tip .

We had good company , good food and later realized we were not lost at all , but truly found.

I learned never to be afraid of the unexpected. Who knew I would be eating healthier then I ever thought possible , or that I would fall madly in love with exercise, There are always surprises in life learn to welcome them with open arms. Hugs happiness and Healthy Living
