One leg down, feet still on the ground.

I made it. This is my mother's hand, and that's my nursing pin she's holding. I was pinned on May 15, graduated May 17, was hired May 25 as a graduate nurse at the hospital I wanted, on the unit I dreamed of, and on day shift, no less.

On June 28, I took and passed my boards. The first brutal leg of this incredible journey is over. I'm a registered nurse in the state of Missouri!

I managed to maintain my weight at 170, which was an accomplishment. But now I have my life back, and I'm at it again. I expect my weight will remain at 170, but I hope to see the muscle/fat ratio shift as I start my bike riding routine again and start hitting the weights. I might actually gain pounds but lose size, and that's cool with me.

    You did it! I am SO happy for you, because that took a lot of work and determination while at the same time, you were changing poor dietary and exercise habits. You can be double proud of yourself!
