Baby Steps

So it's Saturday and I can say that I have been consistent with my tracking and I have been working out. anything to move. always trying to make the right choices with food. it seems like all I do is think or plan this weight loss journey.....sometimes its a daunting task. but then I think about all the years I was eating unconsciously. being super lazy and always waiting for "tomorrow" to make that change....well tomorrow is HERE baby!! I have been working out his week and I am sore as hell but people tell me that will go away as I go further...I hope they are not lying to me. emoticon ... the struggle is real emoticon

    Welcome to SparkPeople. We are all here for the same reason, no matter what our personal story is. We are here to help each other to get to that healthy point we want to be in our lives. It is not going to be easy, but it is attainable. I have found that changing things up is the way to start weight loss. Make small goals and they will lead to big successes. The soreness from working out will get easier. If you were sediatary like I was before I started the weight loss journey this time, it is gonna hurt. You are moving things that haven't moved in awhile. I have lost 101 lbs so far with still another 100 to go. We can chat if you want. Welcome and get active on this site. emoticon

    Yes, Sparkpeople takes time... tracking is essential. I questioned the time I was spending in the beginning but the results are worth it emoticon emoticon emoticon

    It is a process and a huge lifestyle change but after awhile it will be as second nature as the "mindless" eating habit was - hang in there!
