August is going to be a busy month...

July has been a bust as far as working out...My manager has had me working 7 days straight several times and though I need the hours, I am exhausted! So my new goal is while I am getting the kids ready to go back to school in September, I am going to try to lose 5lbs. Starting it off slow...Slow and steady wins the race!
I have 3 birthdays in the month of August so we are throwing 1 big party on the 23rd for Eli turning 6 on the 1st, Chloe turning 9 on the 24th, and Amery turning 1 on the 26th. Then on the 24th, Chloe will be competing in the Miss Emporia-Greensville Peanut Festival pageant. This will be her 4th time competing and she won it back in 2011 so we are hoping for 1 more win!
My other problem is cutting out soda and fast food...AGAIN! I did it for a while and did great but that problem is back! I have done better with the fast food and drinking vitamin water zero lemonade but its still there. I find myself buying coca colas at work and pepsi's every time I go to a store or on the way home from work. I have a subway right down the strip from my job but I got food poisoning so I won't eat there anymore. I also have a Papa John's and a Chinese place. Not very healthy but I have been taking smart one's to work to eat. I'm trying but I really need to get my soda addiction under control!

    Hi! You have a busy August, the important thing is to implement plans and it looks like you have. Soda was a habit I had to cut cold turkey and it was hard but do able. Trust me when I say, I used to drink 4-5 cans a day! I am happy to say that unless it's a very special occasion or they don't have water, then I will drink one and sometimes I even share that one can. It has lost it's appeal on me, and it will on you too. You have to really want it to do it! I know you can! ALot of people have told me they have gotten sick with subway, I fortunately haven't, I don't know what I would do without them! lol. You can loose those 5lbs you set as goal, let go of fast food, soda and concentrate on nourishing yourself, remember soda is the enemy lol!
