Life is challenging me this week. After taking Friday and Monday off, I have worked three 12 hours days, and have to work the weekend. I almost fell into some b ad habits, one night the guys I worked with went for beers after work last night, and tonight they went to White Castle after work. I was so tempted both nights. I know the weekend is going to be rough, so I passed on the fun times out, because I really didn't trust my self-control. I know I won't have regular meals, as both days, will probably be a t least 12 hours. I have been getting my exercise in by doing them when I get up, because I am too tired wh we n I get off work. So I am going to have to pull strength from within to stay on track. But I know that I can do it, and these long days will end and I will get back to normal days.

It's good when you know yourself enough to recognize your bounders. You should be very proud of yourself for not giving in to all the fun (temptations) after work,

I hope your schedule will return back to normal real soon. In the mean time, keep up the great work on this journey.

There will be a time when you will be comfortable going out with the guys. The key is knowing what is on the menu that is good that you can have while others are maybe not eating or drinking so well.

Good job beating the temptation and making the time for exercise enough of a priority to get it done before work! Keep up the effort is it SO worthwhile!!! Keep SHINING, you are a STAR! emoticon emoticon

It's definitely easier to stay on course when life's routines stay regular too. Long, hard, tiring days can really wear my will and perseverance. I make poor choices and will eat just about anything at all when I'm exhausted and hungry. Just be glad these are temporary and you can return to good choices as soon as possible. No one is keeping score.

sometimes these are really hard decisions, especially when your friends enjoy the foods that you know can set you back. Good for you in choosing your health over the pleasure of the moment. That is the strength we all need!
