To 5K Your Way Running Team & All Needing Motivation!

Tuesday, July 15, 2014

There are days when my mind starts to play games with me and all these bs excuses start to come out!
"My stomach aches!" I THINK I have a headache." "My legs feel heavy!'
We all have these moments! Then I dive into my "Run Life" folder...

Then I look at this comparison pic of me & my Granddaughter Gianna.

6 years old & look at that determination! Really? What excuses? I'm goin' out to run!

    Great blog!
When sometimes I feel too tired to run, I can always tell myself "I can run a half a mile no matter what, and then comes my first walk break" and that is true : )

Thank you for this!!!! I'm running the Canal Run in Hancock, MI on Saturday. I'm finding that my body is "feeling" my runs more and more.

I contribute it to 35+ years of putting my left foot into the stirrup and pulling myself into the saddle. Not to mention the bucking, jumping out of the saddle, being stepped on and kicked.

This is just what I needed to read! Thank you again!!!

OK, well, my excuse today was that it was raining-- hard. Ok not a hurricane but I didn't want to get wet, slip, and hurt myself. So I worked out to a Coach Nichole video and did more strength training. Hopefully tomorrow!
