You don't feel the mountain top as well if you've never really been in the valley

Tuesday, July 15, 2014

Today I have slid back 4 lbs. So it's in the valley for me today.

I really don't want to even think about why. Just put it behind me and go forward even more committed. (Those 8 beers Sunday didn't help emoticon ) It only confirms my insulin resistance.

I passed 1,000 minutes for July so on to 1500 minutes! Let's see if I can do it. Who knows maybe even 2000.

Hope all is having a great day and I will come out of this valley and back on that mountain soon.

I agree that water retention is likely there.

That beer muscle from Sunday will disappear quickly and you'll be back on top of the mountain again. You had fun on the water, so that's what's important!

I think getting back on track will drop that 4 lbs quickly. Not to worry. But it is a good confirmation for you! You've got this!

I like your peaks and Valleys, Its a good way to think about weight loss if it was all uphill we might give up but valleys allow you to focus and continue to climb. emoticon

Great perspective and not letting it derail your efforts. Keep it up!

Some of that is most likely fluid retention so close to Sunday's off day. Try sticking to program and weigh again in two days. You will be ok.

After one and a half beers I would be passed out LOL.
