Good News with Photos

Yesterday was a great day!
Wonderful weigh-in but because I did not weigh in at my usual time, I am discounting it.
On Monday and Tuesday I take two evening fitness classes. Even though I keep myself well hydrated, drinking four cups of water before I go to the classes, lots during and more after, I weighed myself after I showered but not after I had supper, so I still could have been dehydrated.
Accuracy and honesty in tracking my stats and weighing and measuring every morsel of what I eat has always been the key to my success.
I started my laundry yesterday and was just putting it into the dryer. A lady I knew was waiting for me to finish. I mentioned I was rushing off to class and would not be able to take my stuff out of the dryer and that she could take it out and pile it up as it was just sheets and towels, etc. But the dear sweetie folded everything neatly, even pairing the socks!
This is the wetlands park trail I like taking to try find the owl that is supposed to be hanging out in it, but with no success:

This is how explosive the river trail grass and shrubs have gotten from all the moisture:

This is the storm drain outlet Mom and I usually cross over on those stepping stones. You can't even see the path leading to it, and before the beaver had mowed down all the young trees and so had been quite open:

I was wondering how the heck they managed to graffiti this when its so high up:

Love the lush greenery, marred somewhat by the smoke haze hanging over the city:

The incredible back yard of people overlooking the river:

Used old stone for steps:

It was nice to these people were environmentally friendly with no less then three turning compost bins!
Another neighbour must have liked the set up as they went with the same tiered brickwork:

My number one food challenge starts today:

I absolutely love this festival! You get to see local top musical talent of all genres. There is a wide selection of food choices, supposed to be appetizer size, but some give generous portions. Its hard to resist sampling so many culinary delights and I usually go almost every day its on.
Tonight I will not go as I have bridge and then two evening fitness classes a low impact & sculpt and a Zumba. My leisure card has expired, but the nice front desk lady knows me and will let me through. I messed up my application for a free card. I had sent it in plenty early, but three weeks later it was returned, saying I needed proof of residency :((
Wednesday I have to go view some furniture in the hopes the club could use something. A generous company is moving and offering all their furnishings to various non profit organizations. We were lucky to receive their letter. I go see my surgeon later and then I will go to the festival as there is a band playing that has a bridge friend playing in it. Their name is The Chickadees:

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Thanks for sharing your photos. Our air is the same as yours. There are 50 fires burning in Washington State. We have lots of hazy smoke, but no smell. Most of the fires are 150 miles away or more.

That sounds like a great festival. Your pictures are fun to look at. I've always wondered how those graffiti artists get to some of those places, too.

Beautiful trail (I'd love to know exactly what part of the river it is... we've not seen this part, and are always looking for new sections to walk)... I know what you mean about the graffiti 'artists'... they must be part aerialist.

Have a great day!
