Still Trying to Start Gaining Momentum

Monday, July 14, 2014

I'm really struggling. I have not done anything productive with my health. I work, sleep, eat, and go back to work again. I don't have energy to do anything, and when I do, I don't see any progress.

What can I do? Where can I get the proper support to keep me on track?

I know what to do...

I've done it before...

Why can't I do it again????

The best way to approach this is to start breaking into a healthy lifestyle. You say you want to avoid health issues in the future. Have you had a checkup lately? This way you 'll have a baseline of where you are and where you want to go. You've been there and know what went good. Embrace that and start thinking in that way again.
Motivation? Long life with your husband? Future family? I did it for my wife and Granddaughter. But I was killing myself. I had Type 2 Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and High Cholesterol.I also got tired of people saying I carried my weight well. Yeah, I've been at rock bottom.
So, you know it takes time BUT you also know it's so worth it. You're lucky because your young. You have a lot to look forward to!
Stay strong, stay focused, and never quit!

I have felt the same way...the only way I actually workout is to get up early and do it before I begin my day. Each time the alarm goes off I try to find an excuse to go back to sleep...each time I get up and workout; I feel GREAT afterwards. I don't feel tired like I did when I first woke up! I know what to do, what to eat and it's just making the effort! JUST DO IT (sorry to quote Nike), but that is what you have to do! Hoping you can find some inspiration! emoticon emoticon
