Learn all you can

" Learn all you can " Classroom Rules Weston middle school Weston Oregon

When faced with a disease or a hard situation or even a simple problem people often tell you to learn all you can. When you are young and in school people will tell you the same thing.

But why then does this stop for many of us when we get out of high school or college. There is much to learn about this great life of ours and ourselves every day .

The other day I was taking one of those silly facebook surveys you know the ones what kind of friend are you really? They ask the simplest stupidest questions sometimes . But in the middle of this small task I realized there is not a lot that I know about me. Or to put it better a lot I need to discover about me.

I have just been going through life on auto pilot lately. Not discovering much about me or the world I live in. So now my quest is to learn all I can.

I want to learn why I am the heaviest I have been since carrying my children 20 years ago. I want to learn the proper way to eat and exercise. I want to learn how to sleep better and get better nutrition in.

And I especially want to learn more about me and the world I live in. I recently joined ISF It the Ian Somerhalder federation . It s a non profit free site where like minded people come together to try to save the planet and the animals that live there . I learn a little every day there . So know I am on a knowledge quest.

I invite you to join in and join me. Find what interest you and learn more about yourself. learn all you can . Hugs happiness and healthy living

We never truly stop learning. To close one's mind to life is terrible, and yet there are those that do it. I see it often in the horse world where some seem to think that theirs is the only right way to handle/train/ whatever a horse. There is still so much to learn no matter how old we are.
Great blog!!! Thank you.

I love to learn!! I take as many continuing ed classes as my town's little two year university offers. Some are duds but some are unexpectedly awesome and I enjoy them all.

We should try to learn all the time, it would save some trouble later on if we did.

emoticon emoticon I've got a lot to learn about our local area and need to swot up on the plants I have in my garden. This new garden has so many unusual plants that are alien to me.

Have a good week Joanne, join me in the garden for a workout?? emoticon
