Creature of Habit

Sunday, July 13, 2014

One day this week, I decided to wear my watch on the other wrist. I already wear it on the non-traditional one, so this was back to wear most have it on. I have to smile at how I kept thinking I'd forgotten to put on my watch, briefly not realizing it was on the other wrist!

Sounds silly, but it also made me think that - if this habit is so engrained - imagine what a lifetime of eating habits are like in my psyche. And explains why it takes so much time and practice to change.

Hope all are well and enjoying the day.

Yes, we are definitely creatures of habit. Eating habits can definitely be hard to change.

I also wear my watch on my right wrist…I don't bash it up as much on that side…I guess I have poor control over my left arm. ;-)

Whenever I'm going to be outside, I switch which arm I wear my watch on every other day to try to avoid the large tan line.

    Jesse,

That's why we need to be steadfast and have stick-to-it-tivness!!! It takes a while to unlearn bad habits, that have been engrained in us, but we're all capable of this and it's already done!!!

Be blessed,

I also wear mine on the wrong hand. It feels weird to have it on the correct one.

That is why we need to be diligent, cognitive of our patterns and focus on what we want instead of what we settled for.
