TOOK YOUR ADVICE

After my post of yesterday several advised that I should talk with the owner. I got up and waited until I felt they were into their morning and had everything pressing done. All desserts and breads are baked early before they open for lunch. I was able to talk with the wife. I told her what happened yesterday. She thanked me for calling. As we talked she advised I was not the first to commit on this employee. She called her husband and he asked to speak to me. I again repeated my experience. Apparently he was not as aware of the effect on the customers. As he handed the phone back to his wife I heard his remark, well I guess that does it. She asked my name and address. I gave it to her and she advised that I would be receiving a gift certificate for the restaurant. I feel bad for the server, but as a customer I felt so under appreiated by my treatment. I also talked with Hubby about this last evening and he wanted me to call. He has a reason for this. He knows that I will just say, no not going there again and he enjoys going here. He loves the fact that you sit at tables with people you don't know. He really likes sitting with someone who has never been here before and getting their reaction to the food. He tells everyone about the place and likes to here from them after they go. He is like me, we loves the locally owned places with great foods. H will go to a drive thru when he is working, but these places are not on our radar.
