Hey, I run for fitness. I run to help maintain my 80+ pound weight loss. I run to socialize with other runners. I run because, at least sometimes, I love it. I run (and walk) to enjoy nature and the great outdoors. I run to amaze myself! I mean, how many people spend more than 50 years as a couch potato and then start running at age 61? And 15 miles?!! That truly does amaze me.
But, okay, while I can't say that my running is all about the bling, it certainly doesn't hurt. Here's a great website listing half marathon medals that are available and links to all the races where you can earn one:
