Happy Birthday Mike, my nephew and Godson!

Thursday, July 10, 2014

Today is Mike's 25th birthday. Our Pirates gave him a present by winning 9 -1. Mike graduated from college two years ago with High Honors. His Major was in Secondary Education Social Studies and a Minor in Theater. A 30 page final paper was about how the Pirates influenced Pittsburgh's History.

I had a great day. I went to our pool and enjoyed swimming laps and reading a book while working on my tan. After watching the Pirate's win, I was hungry for strawberries, so I walked to the Giant Eagle. I bought the strawberries along with some tea. It is a beautiful night here. The Moon is almost completely full, the temperature comfortable and little humidity. The strawberries hit the spot too.

emoticon belated Mike! Tea & strawberries are very mouthwatering. I fed the last of the strawberries to the chickens along with cracked corn and an apple. They also got to free range for about an hour last night.

I haven't been out in the sun to tan this year yet. I haven't even been in the pool. DD swims several times a week and she's been dancing for exercise too.

WTG on your swimming workout! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Sounds like you had a great day alright! And an opportunity to read a good book and work on that tan. My kind of day.
