Vacation Part 5 - White Pass Railroad trip into the Yukon

This was along the White Pass route the gold rush stampeders took.














this picture and the next are the last little remaining bits of the trail of '98. I can barely believe the stampeders put themselves through this. Wow








Old telegraph poles, long since abandoned. The wires were taken down, but the poles left.

It was an amazing railroad trip from Skagway to Fraiser BC on the White Pass Railroad. Such amazing views. So much history along that trail. Wow.

After this, we got on a bus, and were driven through Carcross and into Whitehorse. But those pictures are for my next blog

    very cool .... thanks for sharing. I saw a similar type of trail in Colorado for tin I think.... I thought the same thing.
