Lost blog

Tuesday, July 08, 2014

Well, I had a blog here and pressed the return button and everything just disappeared. Just whining anyway. Had a lousy nite's sleep but then had a 3 hr. nap this afternoon.

Going in to get my walking cast on tomorrow and Friday will see GP and see if there is any concern with these 2 coincidental accidents. Everyone has their tale and MS and TIA's seem to be the major things that could cause this "symptom", if it isn't just a simple accident.

Well, gotta get off to bed and try to stay on a normal schedule.

No - don;t think about MS and TIAs. I'm more prone to think that you are like me (again or still - depending on how you look at it). There are almond shaped organs that are on either side of your spine right where it goes into your head. The left controls your left side balance; the right controls your right side balance. After the second time I fell backwards and broke a vertebrae in my back - and they happened to be right next to each other - I happened to go to a neurologist for something. He looked at my MRI and noticed that the one on my right side never fully developed. Hence, my right side balance has always been off. If someone gave me the sobriety test right now where I put one foot in front of the other as I walk, I would fail. I would suspect that you may have osteopenia or osteoporosis. 1200 mg of calcium and 800 units of vitamin D every day helps. And I take Fosimax to help the old bones. I've become a little hesitant to do a lot of things for fear of falling again, but...I still keep going.
