I did not know yesterday the Pirates for the first time this year swept a series! Today while reading my newspaper I found out they did so against the Phillies, one of the games I enjoyed with my family on Saturday! Today was an active day for me, I walked. Then did three loads of laundry, one of which is still in the dryer. Also I cleaned up because tomorrow, Yvonne, my VA nurse visits my home. She helps me keep track of my meds. and appointments with the VA. I like her to see that my home is clean and neat, I guess that is just pride on my part. Now I am going to enjoy the rest of the Pirates game, right now it is in the third inning 0-0 tie, pitchers duel!!

    emoticon on cleaning up. emoticon
I know what you mean. I like to tiddy up a little bit more than the norm when someone is stopping in. I burn candles and vacuum the sofa because Jasmine leaves hair all over and scub over the restroom. Sometimes there's tooth paste left in the sink which is one of my pet peeves.

Glad your emoticon won and are having a great season. emoticon

I'll cheer with you for the Pirates as they are in the National League and not in the American League like my Blue Jays, LOL. Have a great Tuesday!

Now you know Im a Phillies and Royals fan. My friend Jim eisenriech used to play for both those teams, in fact he played for the Phillies in the World Series. He of course is retired from playing now. Jim Eisenriech has Tourette Syndrome like my son and was a huge influence on his life, teaching him that he do anything. And who would have thought that my son with his moderate to severe tics would graduate from college and become a pastor and actually starts his career at a church in Suring, Wisconsin.
I do hope your Pirates have a successful season!!! Here's to a great visit with your nurse. Look forward to hearing all about it, unless of course you unfriend me for my fanhood. LOL
