Don't give up on your success

Monday, July 07, 2014

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of posts about slip-ups and failing and . . . I experience the same sort of thing . . . leaves me wondering, "what's wrong with me??!??!??"

When I saw this:

it reminded me that one "slip up" is not a tragedy or a wasted week or a ruined day. It's just a choice -- a choice I need to own -- but not a permanent statement about how I eat or how frequently I exercise.

Take a deep breath, Alice, and keep moving.

Words of wisdom on this blog--one (or a few) slip ups is not a tragedy. Or like my DH is fond of saying: I can see the end, it's coming over the cornfield! (an in-joke we farm a few acres). Positive blog--you got this! Keep up the good work! emoticon
