Watched the music and fireworks from the Boston Pops tonight.

Saturday, July 05, 2014

Their concert was moved to the third because of Hurricane Arthur. What was particularly great about it was watching the young kids sing and dance to the music of the Roaring Twenties and music of the Beach Boys from the sixties. They weren't concerned with how old the music was. They just had a great time moving to it. Reassuring to a 63 year old. Glenn

Only my kids in their 30s are picky about the "era" the music is.
My dad loved Big Band music, I just recently felt I had to buy a Big Band CD, my youngest kids had no idea what it is! I think I like most music up to the late 90s, 2000. Lyrics got iffy.

Young kids don't worry about what is 'cool'!
I'm glad I was raised with all kinds of music.
Hubby rode his tractor in local parade (photo on my blog) so we spent a few hours in the July heat ... rained all day on the 5th.

I loved it! It was so much fun to watch. I also enjoyed last night's Macy's and A Capitol Fourth.

Our dogs did not like it because of the fireworks.

Have a great day!
